Once a month get the latest fishing news blast about what's going on with Captain Rom and the Release...such as catches, what's biting next month and weather conditions and other interesting information concerning sportfishing on the Release.

There is nothing any better than taking that freshly landed catch and preparing it Hatteras style.  Each month we'll share out favorite Hatteras recipe.

This year Captain Rom is sponsoring the Best Fishing Video of 2016.  Contest rules: (1) must be recorded during a charter trip on the Release in 2016  (2) must not last more than one minute  (3) allow Capt. Rom rights to post the video on this website or his YouTube channel for all to enjoy.
